Welcome to GORGEOUS Bonners Ferry and North Idaho
Brought to you by: David Allen of Exit Realty Sandpoint
Bonners Ferry, Idaho Land and Real Estate
Welcome to northern Idaho, home of some of the most beautiful forests in the world with elk herds, moose, countless deer and a huge variety of other wildlife.

You can fish or boat in many lakes (large & small). We have literally hundreds of miles of rivers and streams.

We have many parcels of land ranging from 5 to 92 acres in size. These are not rough properties down bad roads with no power and needing a 20 thousand dollar well.

Most of these properties are on county maintained roads with power, natural gas, and phone. Most also have community water to the edge of the property and some have the hook-up already paid. (a slightly over $6,000 value)

All of these properties afford you privacy. Most are forested; some have pasture for your livestock. The greatest majority of them are within 5 to 10 minutes to town. We do have some parcels that are very isolated.

Prices range from $85,000 for 5 acres of pastureland with gorgeous panoramic views and the water hook-up paid to $399,000 for 10 acres with 220 feet of lake frontage on one of North Idaho’s most pristine lakes.

We also have a 92 acre forested parcel with beautiful views and excellent access for only $699,000. Most of the 5 and 10 acre forested parcels range between $99,000 and $129,000. These are all quality parcels of land.

At your convenience in the town of Bonners Ferry we have 3 banks including Wells Fargo and two local banks, 4 gas stations with the current price of regular gas at $3.15 as of 04 Nov. 2007. We have 3 auto repair shops, 2 grocery stores and numerous businesses.

30 minutes south of Bonners Ferry is Sandpoint with it's Ski Resort and Gigantic Lake.  Located in Sandpoint is a Wal Mart Superstore. They have everything  including a HUGE Grocery Store. Across the street is a Home Depot. Banks include Wells Fargo, Bank of America, US Bank.

Hello and welcome again to my web-site set up to show you Bonners Ferry, and Beautiful North Idaho land... a world of friendly people, safe drivers, low crime, clean fresh air and water.

My goal is to help you find your dream property. Whatever that dream is to you, it could be a small mountain cabin off in the North Idaho trees and hills back off the main trail so that you hardly know the rest of the world is there... It could be that lakefront dream home you've been waiting to build... Whatever the case you have all the modern conveniences of city life close at hand right here in Bonners Ferry or within a short 25 to 30 minute drive to Sandpoint.

You may have always pictured that perfect place as having county road frontage and views of some of the most beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers and streams in the world... You'll find that here.

Whether you're looking for pristine vistas, swimming in the front yard or skiing in the back yard... You can find it here in beautiful Bonners Ferry, and North Idaho.

Your desires may include boating, snow skiing, water skiing, and fishing, canoeing, kayaking or speeding along on your jet ski...

If skiing in that famed powder of Schweitzer Mountain only a few minutes from Bonners Ferry or any of the other five ski resorts within a couple hours of town, you know you don't have far to go to experience it here in North Idaho. http://www.schweitzer.com/

You may have always dreamed of living close to nature where the deer, elk, moose, and wild turkeys meander through your life as you see them here regularly. You like many here prize their beauty and the abundance of life their presence represents.

Maybe you're a fisherman and catching brookies, world record lake trout, rainbows, cutthroat, or steelhead gets your attention. If that's it you'll love it here. When it comes to fishing for bass, pike, sturgeon, or salmon, you know you have it close at hand in Bonners Ferry and North Idaho.

You may look to the hills as a hiker or a hunter or cross country skier and realize there are more than 36 million acres of National Forest, state land and BLM land in Idaho for you to play in.  Over time you're bound to see white tail and mule deer, elk, and moose. You'll see black bear, possibly an illusive cougar or Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep and mountain goats. The only herd of forest caribou resides part time in Boundary County's forest land and part time in British Columbia, Canada.

Wild turkey, grouse, and quail are prolific and popular local delicacies. It's not unusual to travel a short distance to get your limit of pheasant or chukars.  With all of the lakes, rivers, and streams, the waterfowl find our area a welcoming place to stop over on their annual migration or stay for the summer to raise their young. The Kootenai Wildlife Refuge is a wonderful place to visit for viewing all sorts of wildlife in a natural setting. http://www.fws.gov/kootenai/

If you're a big game hunter we have both mule deer and white tail, some of the largest elk herds managed by fish and game in North America. We also have moose, big horn sheep, mountain goats, black bear, and cougar.

When you think of back packing, hiking or camping, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, rock climbing you look out your window and know it's right there any time you're ready.

You may walk out to your garage and see your climbing gear in your car or truck and you get excited. Why are you so excited? Because you know there are any number of places you can stop with a friend on the way home from work or over the weekend and enjoy the rush of a natural climb or something already pinned. There are ample opportunities for bouldering.

Then you think of winter coming and the enjoyment of all the winter sports your spirit thrives on...  or how many holes of golf you're going to get in this next season and you feel blessed in a way that's so difficult to describe. Northern Idaho sports the worlds only floating tee and green at the time it was built. Closer to Bonners Ferry in the resort destination of Sandpoint there is a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. There is also an Arnold palmer signature golf course on Lake Pend Oreille (pronounced Pon dah ray) to begin construction soon.

Right here in Bonners Ferry we have our very own Casino on the river's       edge. It's known as the Kootenai River Inn and Casino. http://www.kootenairiverinn.com/

All in all, you know your home here in or near Bonners Ferry Idaho is a paradise very few in this world ever experience.

It makes you grateful for the natural beauty of the area you live and the friendly people who, like you, love the area and want to retain it's natural charm and beauty.
